February 2007 marks the launch of our new business DANCE101 "Dance made easy"

DANCE101 focuses on taking taking the joys of dance to three significant areas of the community
- True Social Environments (pubs, clubs & hotels)
- Corporates
- Schools

Social Dancing
Our vision is to provide access to dance to as many people as possible. We want to scream it from the rafters! DANCE IS EASY and DANCE IS FUN !!!

So we are taking ourselves out to the suburbs where all the people live and we are joining forces with fabulous venues that see the value of dance in true social environments.

Mums, Dads, teens can all enjoy a meal and drink and then dancing afterwards. Most importantly, there are no mirrors and no technical dance drill sergents saying "do it again, do it till you get it right!".

Corporates
We both have a passion to take dance into businesses and allow people to enjoy the fun and freedom of music and dance in a place of work. We spend so much time at the office in sedentary positions, tapping away at keyboards or looking at computer screens, often detached from human contact. We want to get peope UP and OUT of their seats. We want to get them moving, having fun and engaging with other people, even it if is only for 45 minutes!

Human beings love to have fun and they are their happiest when they are having fun with others.

Schools
This is our future!!! Kids love to dance but do they know how to dance with another person? Does a boy know how to greet a girl and request a dance? Does a girl know how to follow a boys lead so that she can enjoy being part of a team?

We will be taking dance into schools and showing kids how to enjoy dancing with others. Kids get to learn the value of their team member and how to really work with another person. All whilst having FUN!!

Four Significant Events!
The launch of DANCE101 will happen in the first week of February and will be marked by four key events

1) Weekly Salsa Classes at Castello's Berwick Springs Hotel, BERWICK
EVERYBODY is welcome Monday February 5 for the first two classes in this fabulous venue. Class times are 7pm and 8pm, beginner classes, no partner required. Our classes have been designed so you can come along, enjoy a meal, drink and dance afterwards. Castello's Berwick Springs is located on Clyde Road, Berwick. For dinner reservations call 9702 6223

2) Weekly Salsa Classes at Waltzing Matilda Hotel, SPRINGVALE
Join us for dinner on MY BIRTHDAY at the famous Waltzing Matilda Hotel. Thursday February 8th at 8pm and 9pm, no partner required, classes will be simple and easy. Waltzing Matilda is located on Springvale Rd, Springvale, for dinner reservations call 9546 1333

3) Weekly Dance Classes at The Arts Collective, YARRAVILLE
Commencing Wednesday 5th we will be teaching at The Arts Collective in Yarraville. For those people out in the west come along at 7.30m and 8.30m. Please book on 9332 2573 The Arts Collective is located at the Pilgrim Hall , Corner Bay View & Montague St, Yarraville

4) Weekly Dance Classes at BMW Australia
Feb 7th will also see the start of our first corporate dance classes with BMW Australia taking up the lead. BMW has a very progressive approach to staff wellbeing, they have a gymnasium and a fantastic onsite bistro providing gourmet and healthy food choices to their staff. We look forward to having fun and making an impact in this wonderful business environment.
